1st World Festival of Circus Arts in Moscow on the Red Square



The 1st World festival of Circus Arts in Moscow on the Red Square passed in October, 1996.
For this event for the first time in a history of Soviet Union and new Russia on a place where passed military parades and demonstrations, have been constructed in total 38 arenas from which 12 symbolized a history of development of a circus art since ancient times and 13 - a chapiteau where the basic competitive program has taken place. The main director of festival - A.Grimailo, the choreographer - I.Filippova.

The main prize of festival "Golden Bear" was won by acrobats on teeterboards under the guidance of A.Zakharov "New Russians".
